With Spring Break quickly approaching, the Dallas and Austin Adapt teams put together a list of our favorite local events to check out in each of our hometowns. Whether you’re looking for a dose of art and culture, hoping to work up a sweat, or searching for family-friendly outings, here’s how we like to stay entertained during Spring Break.

Dallas

Grab your running shoes or bike and head to White Rock Lake. With more than one million visitors annually, White Rock offers a variety of activities on nearly 10 miles of hike and bike trails. For energy and focus to power through the trail terrain, fuel your excursion with Adapt Keto Blast.

Check out the Dallas Arboretum to see the Spring Blooms, which runs from February 23 to April 7. Pack a healthy lunch and bring your Adapt Burst for sustained, jittery-free energy as you take in one of the largest floral festivals in the Southwest.

Head to the Perot Museum of Nature and Science after hours with the kids for their family-friendly Spring Break sleepover on Saturday, March 9. The weekend kicks off with access to all museum exhibits, a huge dance party just before midnight, and ends with a Sunday morning breakfast. This event brings in kids of all ages and their parents, so pack our natural sleep-aid Adapt Nightfall to get a deep, restful sleep. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Dallas’ 40th annual parade on Saturday, March 16. Kick off the festivities at the annual 5K run and stay for the parade, live music and green beer. Spend the day at Zilker Park, Austin’s largest and most popular city park. Spend the afternoon stand-up paddle boarding at Lady Bird Lake or cooling off at the Barton Springs Pool. Take the entire family to The Thinkery for hours of hands-on activities focused on science, technology, engineering, art and math. If you’re looking for a kid-free evening, the museum also offers Thinkery21 which includes snacks from local food trucks, a cash bar, live music and special activities centered around the featured exhibits. Test your grip and endurance at the largest indoor climbing facility in the world at Austin Bouldering Project. You and your little-ones can enjoy family friendly climbing that keeps your body active, burns a lot of calories and offers a larger variety of difficulties for new and experienced climbers. You are likely to even see some of our trainers there testing their strength from time to time.


Head to the SXSW Conference & Festivals, which celebrates the latest in interactive media, music and film. This year the festival runs Friday, March 8 through Sunday, March 17, and includes hundreds of parties and events jam-packed with big-name speakers, bands and movie premiers.
